I just can’t imagine anybody not liking watermelon.
Grandma used the phrase “going to town” to describe how the trees had gone from just barely budding to suddenly filling up with green leaves. Then she asked if I knew the phrase “going to town.”
Me: Yeah, I know that saying.
Grandma: I figured it was just old country talk.
[My phone makes a sound.] Grandma: Is that your phone whistling at me?
Me: [Laugh.] Yes. [Laugh.]

Grandma: It’s probably a female whistling at you.
